Samuel Park, M.D.
An enthusiastic and well-trained physician, Dr. Park specializes in arthroscopy, rotator cuff tear repair, shoulder instability surgery, ACL reconstructive surgery, knee and shoulder replacement surgery and arthritis.
Dr. Park received his undergraduate degree from the University of Chicago where he graduated as a member of the Phi Beta Kappa honor society as well as with general honors. He attended New York University Medical School and was a member of the Alpha Omega Alpha medical honor society. Dr. Park completed his residency in Orthopaedic Surgery at New York University—Hospital for Joint Diseases. He went on to complete a fellowship in Sports Medicine at the San Diego Knee and Sports Medicine Fellowship. As a resident, Dr. Park worked as a staff physician at Madison Square Garden and for the Alvin Ailey Dance Theater, all in New York City.
Dr. Park received the Howard Hughes and Richter Fund Research grants while at the University of Chicago. During residency he completed a fellowship in orthopaedic research and received an award for outstanding Resident Research. He is a candidate member of the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery.
Dr. Park is affiliated with Good Samaritan, Central DuPage and Edward Hospitals.
