Chris Huang, M.D.
With his expertise in orthopaedic surgery, Dr. Huang treats both adult and pediatric patients. Although he practices general orthopaedic surgery, he has a special interest in hand and upper extremity surgery. His academic and professional experience is highlighted by multiple publications, including several research abstracts and peer reviewed manuscripts.
Dr. Huang received his bachelor of arts degree in biology in 1993 from Washington University in St. Louis. He went on to receive a doctor of philosophy degree from the Department of Anatomy and Cell Biology at the University of Illinois at Chicago in 2002, followed by his medical degree from Rush University in 2003. He continued his medical training at the University of Illinois at Chicago where he finished a five-year orthopaedic surgery residency in 2008.
Dr. Huang completed a fellowship in hand and upper extremity surgery at the University of Pittsburgh in 2009. Dr. Huang is a member of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons, the Illinois State Medical Association and the Illinois State Orthopaedic Association. He is affiliated with Central DuPage, Edward, Good Samaritan and Hinsdale Hospitals.
